I hope to begin building a glen l boat in the next year. this book is very comprehensive in terms of topics discussed. the language is very accessible and easy to understand both in theory and in execution. i did find that most of the info is available online in forums and builders' webpages.. 1994 glen l dory, 23' aluminum plate dory (marine salt water rated aluminum 3/16) with small wooden cabin . this is a glen-l design (hunky dory). the boat has a double bottom of welded treadplate. walk around gunwales also treadplate.older 50 hp motor and galvanized trailer. $10000, 3196712617. Comments: hi glen-l folks, i am glad to see that you are still providing great boat plans for those of us out here who like to sail in something we built. i ordered my glen-l 13 frame kit, plans and fastening kit way back in 1964. as i completed the boat i also ordered your hardware and sail kits. i really appreciated the quality of all your items..
